Bio

I am a research assistant in the Department of Computer Engineering at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Before joining CUHK, I worked with Mirco Ravanelli and Yoshua Bengio at Mila (Quebec Artificial Intelligence Institute) on speech research and was part of the core development team for SpeechBrain, an open-source deep learning toolkit for speech. In 2020, I earned a BSc in Computer Science from the University of Rochester. I also received the CRA Award for Outstanding Undergraduate Researcher (Honorable Mention), was recognized for Excellence in Undergraduate Research in Computer Science by the University of Rochester, and won the Dean’s Merit Scholarship for a total of $40,000. My current research interests are in making AI systems robust under distribution shifts.
